Bryan Persinger, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Bryan Persinger has practiced dentistry since 1998. He is proud to be a part of a practice that truly makes a difference for his patients, not only by giving them outstanding dental care but by creating an exceptional experience as well. Dr. Persinger and his team pay close attention to all patients’ needs and work hard to exceed their expectations.
Dr. Persinger’s undergraduate degree was in mechanical engineering. He graduated from Ohio State University’s dental school with his doctorate in dental surgery. While his formal education gave him an excellent foundation in the basics of dentistry, Dr. Persinger understands that the only way to provide top-level care is through continuing education.
Dr. Persinger regularly updates his education in many areas of advanced dentistry, including cosmetics, orthodontics, and endodontics. He has attended seminars and hands-on courses with The Hornbrook Group and Pac-Live Aesthetic Continuum. In 2016, Dr. Persinger graduated from the prestigious Kois Center located in Seattle, WA. A premier post-graduate program, the mission of the Kois Center is to deliver the latest advances in aesthetics, implants, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Persinger feels this education enables him to deliver the highest level of care to our patients.
Dr. Persinger’s professional affiliations include The American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
Originally from the small town of Hartville in Northeast Ohio, Dr. Persinger moved to Charlotte in 1998 and has spent the last fifteen years in Cornelius. He and his wife, Tracie, have been married for 30 years. They have a daughter, Madeline, a son, Justin, and a goldendoodle named Cali.
The family stays active by boating, playing tennis, riding dirt bikes, and skiing. Dr. Persinger’s passion is mountain biking, and he can often be found on the many excellent trails around the area!
Kathryn Kruskamp, DDS
Dr. Kathryn Kruskamp graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina Dental School at Chapel Hill after attending Purdue University. She practiced family and cosmetic dentistry in Greensboro for five years before joining Branchview Dental Care. She has dedicated her professional career to providing her patients with the highest level of personalized, comfortable, and affordable care.
Dr. Kruskamp enjoys working with patients of all ages. She has completed post-graduate coursework in general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Kruskamp is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.
The doctor and her husband, John, have two children, Jillian and Karson. The Kruskamps’ hobbies include traveling, spending time with family, playing board games, and doing puzzles. They also enjoy the ocean, and Dr. Kruskamp is a certified scuba diver.
Richard Chu, DDS
Dr. Richard Chu loves the opportunity to help his patients maintain healthy teeth and improve their smiles. His desire is to build relationships with patients, understand their needs, and be able to provide comprehensive dentistry. He has been practicing for the past two years in Raleigh, NC, but recently decided to relocate to the Charlotte area.
Dr. Chu earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his doctor of dental surgery degree from UNC School of Dentistry. He is passionate about continuing his education so he can provide comprehensive care to his patients. He has completed advanced courses in endodontics and Invisalign and plans to attend the Kois Center and implant courses.
Dr. Chu is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. The driving force behind his pursuit of dental knowledge is the desire to help patients maintain stronger, straighter, and healthier smiles. With his comprehensive skill set, he can conveniently take care of all your dental needs.
Dr. Chu entered the field of dentistry out of a passion for technical, hands-on work and the ability to get to know so many wonderful people. He’s proud to work with such an exceptional team that provides a warm and comfortable environment for patients and whose passion for excellent care matches his own. Dr. Chu has met many people throughout his career and is grateful for the meaningful relationships he has built with them, both in his team and with his patients. Helping people achieve the smile they want while customizing treatment for a patient’s specific needs is a fulfilling challenge, and Dr. Chu is thankful for the trust his patients place in him.
Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Chu working out at the gym, cycling on the greenways, or playing a game of tennis or a round of golf with friends. He also enjoys traveling to new cities and trying out new restaurants.
Rocco Colucci, DMD
Dr. Rocco Colucci wakes up every morning excited to serve the community with great dental care. He enjoys building strong relationships with his patients to learn about their goals and find solutions best for them. More than just caring for his patients, Dr. Colucci strives to give his patients an understanding of their oral health and how it affects their general well-being.
Dr. Colucci earned his doctor of dental medicine degree at East Carolina School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a general dentistry residency program at the same school. He continues his education today with courses through ECU School of Dental Medicine, Gordon Christensen, and UNC School of Dental Medicine. These courses ensure that Dr. Colucci can provide the best, most up-to-date care at the highest standards.
In addition to his education, Dr. Colucci is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society.
The dental profession allows him to serve the people where he lives, as well as those in need in underserved areas across North Carolina. Outside the dental office, he gives back to his community with volunteer work in Mission of Mercy clinics, the Hyde County dental clinic, and at the Mooresville Soup Kitchen. He has also coached youth basketball and volunteered for the Relay for Life.
Dr. Colucci grew up in Mooresville, NC. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Lauren, and has a new baby boy, Caden. When he is not working, he enjoys watching local sports, especially the NC State Wolfpack, as well as playing the guitar and golfing.
When Dr. Colucci pursued a career in dentistry, he took the next step in living his childhood dream. Now, he feels honored to work with a team that provides a relaxed, supportive environment centered around patient care. Deepa Patel, DMD
Dr. Deepa Patel believes that dentistry is not only a profession but a way of life where she is able to build long-term relationships with her patients. Dr. Patel values compassion and makes it a top priority to provide comfort and care to each patient.
Dr. Patel earned her bachelor’s degree at Mercer University in Georgia and her master’s at Barry University in Florida. She then went on to earn her dental medicine degree from Tufts University in Boston and completed her dental residency with the Indian Health Services in Arizona. She is a life-long learner and continues to keep herself up to date on dentistry’s newest research and techniques through the Kois Curriculum. Kois features a comprehensive nine-course curriculum with the latest advances in aesthetics, implant, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Patel believes clear communication is key to great patient care outcomes. Fluent in both English and Gujarati, Dr. Patel enjoys talking with her patients and having the opportunity to educate them on the importance of their oral health.
Oral health is the gateway to overall health, and Dr. Patel keeps this in mind as she crafts personalized care plans for her patients. Comfort is important, and she wants her patients to feel at home when they visit and strives to make each person’s experience enjoyable.
Born in Kentucky and raised in Middle Georgia, Dr. Patel recently moved to Charlotte, where she now lives with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys traveling the world with her husband to spark her personal growth. They also enjoy hiking, visiting national parks, and trying out new restaurants. Some of her favorite travel memories have been African Safaris, hiking through Patagonia, and shark cage diving.
Victoria Santiago, DMD
Dr. Victoria Santiago is passionate about serving people and she loves that her profession allows her to do so in such a special way. She finds a lot of fulfillment in being able to improve a patient’s self-confidence with something as simple as a better smile and she strives to bring more awareness to how oral health affects overall health.
Dr. Santiago earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2005 and has since continued to stay on top of this quickly evolving field in order to deliver the best possible care to her patients. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the American Dental Association.
Though she lives in South Charlotte now, Dr. Santiago grew up on the Jersey Shore. She has always known that she wanted to be a doctor. She originally considered a career as an OB/GYN to follow in her mother’s footsteps, but after shadowing a pediatric dentist a few times, she was sold on dentistry. Dr. Santiago enjoys being able to spend quality time with patients and create valuable relationships with them. After nearly 20 years of practice, she has no regrets about choosing dentistry.
In addition to her work in the office, Dr. Santiago is involved in volunteering and community outreach at Forest Hill Church. Being active in the community is important to her because she believes that it is now more important than ever to be a good neighbor and create spaces for people to feel valued, included, and connected.
When she is not working, Dr. Santiago can be found exploring local hiking trails and state parks or working on her indoor garden. She also enjoys traveling home to the Jersey Shore to spend time at the beach with family.
